PROGETTO ARCADIA is an innovative start up (Italian Law N. 221/2012) funded in 2013 by Elena Gentilini, PhD in local economic development and Massimo Germani, architect and designer.

 

PROGETTO ARCADIA works in the fields of architecture, design and place development.

 

 

Massimo Germani graduaded in Architecture, cum laudeae and his thesis in set design, concerning open-air shows within the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, gained the mention “worth of publication”.

He published articles on set design in academic journals and his research interests concentrate on set design, sustainable architecture and landscape architecture. Since 2012 he has been a member of the DAS (Debating Sustainable Architecture) Commission at the Architects Association. Since 2013 he has been working as free lance architect and is co-founder along with Elena Gentilini at PROGETTO ARCADIA.

Elena Gentilini holds a PhD in Local Economic Development at the University of Bologna and her research interests are primarly in urban regeneration, governance and sustainable tourism, in particular in the UK. She worked as marketing and fundraiser officer for cultural events, as sales account for Canada, Australia, Europe, North America and China, as well as business consultant. She is certified PM4ESD™ Project Management for Sustainable Development. She is co-founder along with Arch. Massimo Germani at PROGETTO ARCADIA.

Michele Zualdi set designer, he graduates with Laude at the Academy of Fine Arts. He works as set designer in theatres, cinema and as interior designer. He collaborated with important theatre companies in Italy and abroad:Rome, Milan, Spoleto, Naples, Dublin, Krakow and with renown artists. He a teacher at the Istituto Italiano di Design (Perugia) and in secondary art schools. His creative Lab in Spoleto has been deeply rooted in the family tradition of art and handmade for four generations now. He has been collaborating with PROGETTO ARCADIA for over two years.

Elisa Moroni graduated in Construction Engineering Architecture at the University of Perugia in May 2015. He wrote an experimental final essay in the filed of Structural engineering, regarding the buildings safety in sismic areas and she collaborated with an engineering  design studio in Perugia. During her education she developed a strong passion for interior design and for 2d and 3d rendering solutions. She starts now collaborating with PROGETTO ARCADIA.
